James Angelo DeMiles
James Angelo DeMiles is a founding partner of DeMiles & DeCoste, P.A. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Suffolk University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, class Valedictorian, and recepient of the Highest Senior Scholastic Honors award for the College of Arts and Sciences. Mr. DeMiles then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude.
DeMiles is not just an academic achiever, he has also proven his ability to be an effective defense attorney who is equipped with knowledge and experience that are crucial for success in a courtroom. Prior to putting up his own practice, Mr. DeMiles was a Prosecutor in Miami-Date. He has experiences in all levels of crime ranging from Misdemeanors to Life Felonies such as Murder and Armed Robbery. His experiences have enabled him to use the knowledge of applicable laws, and the Miami-Dade Court System.

Christopher M. DeCoste
Mr. DeCoste is a criminal trial attorney with years of experience. He is based in Miami and also a founding partner of DeMiles & DeCoste P.A.
Prior to becoming a Miami resident, DeCoste lived in Boston, Massachusetts where he was born and raised. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he moved right after graduating from high school. After traveling to different places around the world, he settled in Boston to work on his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. His name was included on the Dean’s List and he was also Associate Managing Editor of the Moot Court Board Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. Mr. DeCoste worked as a Prosecutor in Miami-Dade prior to starting his own practice. He gained experience and expertise when he was chosen to be a specialized Prosecutor with the Career Criminal / Robbery Unit. He was also a Prosecutor for the Traffic Homicide Investigation Unit. All these experiences has enabled him to acquire valuable knowledge of applicable laws especially the Miami-Date Court System. But the learning does not stop from there because Mr. DeCoste believes that acquiring knowledge and experience is a continuous process—they are keys to the advancement to boldly defend his clients however big or small their cases are.
